Learning Bridge Association (LBA) and students from three VTC Shine Skills Centres (Tuen Mun, Kwun Tong, and Pok Fu Lam) had the pleasure of joining Lenovo at its office in Science Park today
for the LBA Corporate Awareness Programme for SEN Inclusivity (CAPSI) x Lenovo Love on Month of Service event. CAPSI aims to enhance awareness of differently-abled young adults among corporations through interactive activities, while providing the youth with insights into various job responsibilities in the workplace.

The energy was infectious as soon as the students stepped into Lenovo's Science Park office. Lenovo volunteers kicked off the event with engaging icebreaker games, followed by three group activities: a tour to the AI unmanned store, a pictionary game on dream jobs using digital whiteboard, and an immersive VR experience. The students thoroughly enjoyed participating in these activities, showcasing their enthusiasm for learning.

Following a relaxing tea break, Lenovo team members from different departments took the stage to introduce their roles and share their personal career journeys. They also provided valuable insights on handling work stress and answered the students' questions with great keenness. Our students were truly captivated by Lenovo and some expressed their desire to join the company in the future.

What a valuable and eye-opening event for all participants! We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the amazing Lenovo volunteers. Your professionalism, fun-loving spirit, and compassion have made this event truly memorable. We are grateful for Lenovo’s partnership and your dedication to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.

Bridging SEN youth to the society is our mission, and corporate awareness is the cornerstone of this endeavour. While some organisations face shortage of manpower these days, we have a group of talented and differently-abled young adults who are eager to contribute to society. We invite corporations from different industries to take a step forward in building an inclusive workforce.
